MiniDV Video Transfer in Louisville

MiniDV is a small digital video cassette used by many home camcorders. If you are not sure what format your tapes are, bring them in and we will check.

$24.95 per tape. Removing blank footage from inside a tape is an optional extra, billed at $80 per hour for the time it takes.

On DVD, a USB thumb drive or by cloud download. You can combine any of them for a minimal extra charge.

MP4 files, which play on most computers, phones and TVs. Video is delivered at 720p or at the resolution your camcorder recorded.

No. All transfers are done in house at our Louisville location. Your originals are never shipped out, and we return them to you when the transfer is done.

Usually about 2 weeks. We work first in first out, so timing depends on how many orders are ahead of yours.

Yes. We trim the start and finish of every tape. If you also want blank stretches removed from the middle, that is $80 per hour, based on the time it takes.

We will do our best. If a tape is in very bad shape, we will tell you and there is no charge for that tape.

Each tape holds a fixed amount. How much depends on the speed and quality setting the camcorder recorded at, and we transfer whatever is on the tape.

Yes. Make as many copies as you like and share them freely.

No appointment is needed for most services. Drop off during store hours, Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.

Yes. We also transfer VHS, compact VHS, Hi8, Digital8 and Betamax tapes.
